Enveraco Ltd is the controller for personal information processed through this website and Byleron Bibliometrics, except where an institution separately determines the purposes and means of processing for its own users or research programme.

Information we process

• Account and membership information: name, email address, username, membership status, billing status and account preferences.
• Workspace information: projects, uploaded sources, codes, coded segments, memos, metadata, results drafts, collaboration records and exports you create or request.
• Technical and support information: browser and page details that you choose to include in a support request, plus limited security and service logs needed to operate the site.
• Analytics information: Google Analytics may collect online identifiers and usage information when you accept non-essential analytics cookies.

Why we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, maintain accounts and memberships, process payments, answer support requests, prevent misuse, improve the website, and meet legal obligations. We process workspace material to provide the functions you request. We rely primarily on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where required for non-essential cookies, and legal obligations where applicable.

Payments, service providers, and locations

Payments are processed by Stripe. Byleron Bibliometrics does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes. Website and workspace infrastructure is located in Frankfurt, Germany. We also use providers where needed to deliver specific features: Stripe for payments, Google Analytics for consented analytics, and OpenAI for AI features you choose to use. These providers process information under their own applicable terms and data-processing arrangements.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we use the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

AI features

AI processing is optional. No project material is sent to OpenAI merely because you have an account or open the workspace. When you deliberately run an AI feature, the selected source material and relevant project context needed for that task may be sent to the OpenAI API. Read the AI Use Disclosure for a fuller explanation.

Retention, deletion, and backups

Workspace material is retained while your account and project remain active. Deleting a project removes its project records from the active workspace. To request account deletion, use Contact Support from Questions & Answers. We aim to complete account-deletion requests within one calendar month, subject to identity verification, legal obligations, and any need to retain limited billing or security records. Deleted material may remain in secure backup systems for up to one additional month before routine overwrite.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. Contact hello@enveraco.eu to make a request. You may also complain to the UK ICO. Visit the ICO.

Children and research data

Byleron Bibliometrics is for people aged 18 or over. Researchers remain responsible for ensuring they have an appropriate lawful basis, participant information, consent where required, ethics approval, safeguarding measures, and de-identification process before uploading any research material, especially material relating to children or other vulnerable people.
